ABOUT THE JOB:

Reporting to the Wealth Development Team Leader, the Wealth Development Partner role is designed to identify and drive client revenue growth opportunities for both Mass Affluent and High Net Worth client segments, increase effective collaboration between Retail branches and wealth segments, and ensure clients are aligned with the appropriate advisors served by the channel that best meets their needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Effectively identify potential wealth management clients from Retail client base through data analytics and high net worth/ mass affluent leads.
• Coach Retail team members in the branches on KeyBank's wealth management services.
• Communicate and collaborate with Key Private Bank and Key Investment Services Sales Leaders.
• Partner with Wealth Management Leaders as a Retail Channel Partner to drive revenue and qualified referrals for both Mass Affluent and High Net Worth clients and prospects.
• Coordinate resources, assess needs, and develop strategies in market with Regional Retail Leaders and Area Retail Leaders to drive revenue and referrals from Retail Branches to Key Private Bank and Key Investment Services.
• Work closely with Home Lending Leaders in market to develop new Mass Affluent and High Net Worth referrals and revenue through mortgage opportunities.
• Improve Wealth Management visibility and communication with Retail.
• Work closely with Wealth Development Managers in their respective markets to ensure coaching and execution aligns with the training and development of all Retail employees.
• Confidently and knowledgeably discuss Wealth Management capabilities and benefits to Retail team members and potential clients.
• Introduce and refer clients to the appropriate Key Private Bank or Key Investment Services partner.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (business or finance major preferred) or equivalent work experience
• 5 years’ experience in banking or financial services
• Minimum licensing requirement of Fina Series 6, Series 63, and state insurance licenses
• Basic understanding of fiduciary, financial services and investment products
• Demonstrated sales and sales coaching skills
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with Wealth Management and Retail Leadership
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task, quickly change direction with independent work ethic
• Ability to use independent judgment given limited supervision
• Ability to exercise discretion due to accessing and handling highly sensitive client information
• Regular travel to assigned branch territory including outside of normal business hours
• Proficiency in all Microsoft applications: Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience operating in the Retail branch environment
• Previous experience working with fiduciary and investment products
• Understanding of the branch sales and coaching model
• Knowledge of Salesforce
