Key Equipment Finance 2019 Summer Internships – Credit Portfolio Monitoring

Key Equipment Finance ("KEF"), a division of KeyCorp, offers a number of paid, full-time internships each summer in its Superior, Colorado headquarters location.

We are looking for a select group of outstanding college students in business related fields, actively participating in an undergraduate or graduate program, for our summer internships. We are seeking candidates with the talent, initiative, and skill to work closely with experienced professionals in developing their skills and experience.

The internship program spans for approximately 10-14 weeks in the summer, with a potential to continue part-time during the following school year. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on various projects with a specific department. You will also have an opportunity to network with the senior management of KEF and other professionals across the company to give you a broad perspective of our business. In addition, there will be opportunities for interns to participate in classroom, self-study, and other training to broaden financial, accounting, communications, and other skills.

About the Credit Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Reporting Internship
• You will be part of a team of talented analysts that monitors client and lease portfolios, and prepares portfolio risk reporting, (e.g., total exposure, impact of natural disasters on clients/equipment in our portfolio, trend analysis, concentration reviews, exception reporting) for Executive audience.
• Pulling from multiple data sources and using tools to analyze the data, projects this summer will primarily circle around a large accounting system conversion and the impact on internal critical business reporting.

Which skills do you need?
• An eye for detail and a curiosity to find errors.
• Analytical, insight generation, decision-making and logic skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft® Office applications, especially Excel
• General Information Systems and Database knowledge
• Technically-savvy, with ability to learn new systems and data analysis approaches.
• Ability to work independently

What are we looking for?
Qualified applicants will have:
• Upper-level undergraduate or graduate student in business, mathematics, economics or another applicable program; 2 or more accounting classes is preferred.
• Coursework experience in SAS and/or SQL or other databases related courses is preferred
• A minimum 3.0 GPA
