Job Description

The position performs the initial review of all borrower requests for lender consent received in the Transactions Department. For transactions other than assumptions and transfers of interest, the Coordinator reviews the servicing agreement and loan documents in order to determine the processing requirements. The Coordinator communicates with account managers, borrowers, primary servicers, investors and attorneys to answer procedural questions and gather information for requests received for underwriting.

  • Monitor the Transactions Mailbox and communicate with Account Managers, Borrowers, Primary Servicers, investors and attorneys regarding Transactions other than Assumptions and Transfers.
  • Review loan documents and loan servicing agreements on transactions other than assumptions as needed prior to setting up each transaction in the department’s tracking system and Freddie Mac’s CRT system.
  • Review correspondence and documentation for each request to determine (1) if Lender consent is required, (2) if the Company is responsible for processing and (3) if sufficient information has been received to assign to an Underwriter.
  • File information received electronically for further review during underwriting. Assign each request to a Transaction Underwriter.
  • Engage third party vendors for underwriting as determined by Manager.
  • Engage Legal Counsel and run compliance as requested by the Underwriter.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Company’s internal system to reflect the current status of the transaction.
  • Assist Underwriters and Closers as needed.
  • Assist with closing files for non-assumption transactions.
  • Assist with posting fees and expenses (legal & servicing) for the transactions
  • Associate College Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in asset management and/or loan servicing
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Task oriented
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
