Job Profile Summary

Directs regional strategies for Government Service line of business and manages team of relationships managers. Ensures success of the team by developing financial goals and best practices for expanding public sector business. Develops programs to collaborate with other municipal lines of business within KeyBank to broaden full financial service offerings to government clients. Manages and analyzes financial objectives and directs the team in meeting high performance standards.

Job Description

• Oversee all large government relationships within the region in excess of $50MM. Serve as the “Trusted Advisor” to the most profitable and highest potential relationships within the team.
• Formalize and direct an external calling program by identifying and handing off opportunities that will new or expanded services to clients and cross sale successes.
• Ensure cross selling internal prospects across lines of business. Continue to define and implement the process to affect successes within FNRM and Leasing.
• Lead a client focused business development effort in step with the Strategic initiatives individually and with the team.
• Responsible for coaching, counseling and development of direct reports to achieve performance excellence. Communicate LOB Manager’s priorities to Team members.
• Ensure implementation and success of team members in deepening relationships through superior participation and leadership.
• Maintain regional competitive awareness to effectively price and structure banking relationships and fee based products to maximize production and profitability.
• Ensure credit and ACH exposure authority and guidelines are effective and in place
• Highly visible within the assigned geographic area through active membership and participation in prominent government trade associations and boards.
• Manage LOB reporting deadlines and ensure timely submission of required information by RM’s.
• Serve as a primary resource concerning knowledge of credit, bank products, services, and systems.
