Job Description

Essential Job Functions
• Assemble all necessary tax information for assigned trust accounts and prepare fiduciary tax returns in a timely manner.
• Review and maintain tax information on trust accounting system and vendor tax system to assure accuracy.
• Prepare individual income tax returns.
• Calculate and pay quarterly estimated taxes for trusts and individuals.
• Responds to queries from trust administrators and customers.

Marginal Job Functions
• Perform related duties within department including maintenance of trust database as a whole.
• Maintain own files, purge and transfer to record center.
• Significant overtime required January through April.

Required Skills
• Enrolled in an undergraduate program in Accounting
• A minimum 3.3 GPA (preferred)
• Relevant work or internship experience
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities

Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of fiduciary and individual income taxes.
• Knowledge of accounting systems concepts.
• Knowledge of individual income tax software concepts.
• Windows, Word, Excel and Access experience.
