ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

This position is part of the Enterprise Payments (EP) business which is undergoing significant growth and encompasses a varied and leading product set across Treasury Services, Deposits, Merchant Services, Corporate and Prepaid Cards, Foreign Exchange, International Trade, as well as Fintech partnerships. Specifically, the Sr. Product Manager will be a member of the Prepaid Product and Innovation team focused upon: 1) Managing new products and services through their initial development through launch as well as managing post-launch results, and 2) Managing vendor engagements. The successful candidate will have a strong blend of business acumen, technical and communication skills, which collectively will enable him or her to (1) Successfully partner with vendors and Fintech companies, Key internal leadership and Risk partners to launch new relationships, and (2) Manage though leadership, market support, client experience, vendor partnership and P&L of new products through post-launch.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Work with vendors and internal partners to integrate with product enhancements and new products into Key’s sales and support processes, working closely with the line of business on opportunity sizing, business case preparation, prioritization, and commercialization.
  • Lead project management of complex initiatives including Regulatory initiatives within Enterprise Payments.
  • Craft business requirements incorporating appropriate feedback from stakeholders.
  • Execute solid product development and management practices by understanding client behaviors and industry trends. Ability to manage one or more projects or initiatives concurrently in an effective manner.
  • Partner across multiple functions providing support, leadership and subject matter expertise to marketing, sales, finance, technology, legal, risk, operations and compliance in order to accomplish objectives.
  • Oversee the evaluation of the industry to identify trends, changes or shifts in client and competitor behaviors and regulatory and competitive forces that impact these products. Maintenance and development of a deep understanding of client behavior.
  • Manager vendor relationship to optimize sales, onboarding, customer support, product feedback and roadmap processes with appropriate governance and oversight.
  • Support cross-product strategic development and influence payment solutions across the product management team.
  • Support client acquisition, cross-sell, and/or retention initiatives by providing insights based on data analysis.
  • Work with partners to craft training internally and externally to convey an understanding of the products, their usage and functionality with a fanatical view into the client experience. Develop and maintain product collateral, client and market communications to drive sales and support product roll-out processes.
  • Analyze product financials, statistics and client and product level reporting on a regular basis to articulate and identify any changes occurring with clients, the market, operations and the product functionality.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum five years of treasury services product management or project management experience
  • Strong analytical skills. Excellent problem solving and quantitative skills.
  • Strong internal and external communication skills. Must be able to create and conduct executive level presentations, present at industry venues, and interface with clients.
  • Strong technical translation skills and an ability to develop and manage business requirements.
  • Excellent project management/organizational skills and history of successfully driving multiple simultaneous or complex projects to completion.
  • A team player with proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with internal partners including finance, technology, operations, sales, marketing, legal, compliance, and other internal and external partners including vendors.
  • Ability to assess and enhance product effectiveness and market receptiveness.
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations of clients.
  • Ability to identify inefficient processes, recommend solutions, and manage implementation.
  • An ability to champion change, influence others, and foster teamwork.
  • Proficiency with PCs and standard Microsoft Office software.
