Job Description

The Sr. Oracle Database Infrastructure Engineer VI will help bring clarity and structure to the transformation efforts of the Oracle DBMS platform within the KeyBank environment. The candidate will leverage both their technology and leadership skill sets as they partner across the Infrastructure Delivery Organization to architect, design, implement and automate an infrastructure-as-a-service model for Oracle DBMS services.

Technical Skillset Desired
Deep experiences managing the Oracle DBMS platform within a large enterprise environment
Hands-on architectural experience designing, implementing and operationalizing Oracle Exadata devices
Deep experiences performing and optimizing common Oracle database administration tasks in support of service delivery
Strong track record of successful use of the following Oracle DBMS functionalities: Multitenant, Data Guard, Partitioning, etc.
Hands-On experiences using common Oracle DBMS administration tools: Oracle OEM / OID
Hands-on experiences with DevOps database automation practices using Ansible and integration into the Oracle stack

Secondary Skillset Items (Nice to Have)
Knowledge of core infrastructure platforms supporting the Oracle DBMS environment: network, server, storage, etc.
Previous experiences developing & performance tuning application database code bases
Experience with capacity management of database appliances like Exadata
