The Info Security Manager - Cybersecurity Awareness and Education is responsible for the institution's information security awareness and education program. The overall goal of the security awareness and education program is to reduce information security risk by ensuring that all employees and contractors understand Key’s security policies and apply information security practices with respect to institutional data and information technology systems. In collaboration with other members of the Corporate Information Security department, this position will manage a broad set of activities, including: drafting publications, creating and managing website content, facilitating marketing campaigns, scheduling meetings, creating timelines and infographics; and helping to plan outreach, awareness, and educational events. The Cybersecurity Awareness and Education Coordinator will also be responsible for evaluating effectiveness of techniques and resources as appropriate.


  • Develop a long-term cybersecurity awareness and education program strategy, processes and procedures to include security awareness workflows, runbooks, playbooks, training packages etc.

  • Build user awareness by taking a holistic approach to the cybersecurity awareness program using diverse methodologies and concepts to spark interest.

  • Core understanding of phishing attacks, methodologies, and concepts. Should be able to comfortably discuss and walk through the details of a phishing attack and articulate how to proceed with establishing or fortifying defenses.

  • Participates and advises in the development of the annual Cybersecurity Awareness training course.

  • Manage development and implementation of cybersecurity brown bag presentations, cybersecurity expos, and other awareness events.

  • Create metrics framework that can effectively measure and communicate the impact of the Program.

  • Manages resources and budget to meet strategic objectives and operational needs.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of information security training, education, and awareness activities to identify opportunities for program enhancement and maturity.

  • Interact and/or build/sustain collaborative relationships with all Lines of Business, technology groups and others, as appropriate.


  • Experience planning and implementing a cybersecurity awareness and education program elements and/or role-based training programs.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of information security policies, standards, and/or governance controls in complex computing environments.

  • Experience working across multiple lines of business to design and implement training plans and track organizational progress, development, and metrics.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills with experience briefing corporate professionals, executives, and clients.

  • Ability to periodically travel to Key locations to conduct training.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

  • Results oriented, self-starter with ability to work with general direction.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Knowledge of financial industry.


  • Three or more years of information security related experience.

  • Experience developing social media/marketing campaigns.

  • Cross-functional knowledge of Key business units.
