Reporting to the Segment Planning and Delivery Leader, the Sr. Digital Segment Manager is responsible for contributing to and executing on the strategic plan for enhancing our digital capabilities for the Key Community Bank. They will play a critical role in building out the end to end client experience and manage the performance to achieve maximum engagement and client satisfaction. In this role you will partner with digital product managers and technology to plan, develop, and implement digital products and services for the segment as well as manage existing digital experiences.

Serves as the primary relationship owner and represents the voice of the segment within the digital organization
Sets digital strategy in partnership with segment leadership, owning the development and delivery of strategic artifacts to senior executive level and socialization with key partners
Owns the digital experience and product delivery leading a cross-functional project teams from discovery through commercialization within an agile environment, working closely with product managers, design, and technology teams
Provides leadership and consultation to drive day-to-day prioritization of work, troubleshoot reported issues, and oversee releases and, as required, direct execution support to deliver against key projects
Builds relationships with relevant fintechs working within the segment space and/or applicable technology space.
Engages internal stakeholders to assess technologies and work in association with other digital colleagues to assess market, determine commercialization potential, and perform market and technology evaluations

Primary Output and Deliverables
Lead the development and implementation of a digital strategy and an 18-24 month digital roadmap, including client/market research, concept validation, business case development, go-to-market strategy development, and client engagement
Established advisor/consultative relationship with segment leadership, with attendance and participation at key business meetings and partner satisfaction
Development of digital strategy goals and success metrics, including the development of a digital client satisfaction scorecard
Strategic Thinking
Translate business goals into functional digital strategies and tactical digital product ideas.
Take the enterprise customer and the portfolio of platforms into consideration when assessing the impact of new projects.
Work closely with various business leaders to advise them on how to develop and sustain a business advantage in their space via KeyBank’s digital channels.

Make sound data driven judgments drawing from both analytical data sources and qualitative data sources.

Serve as primary contact for assigned segments while influencing and leading cross functional teams and projects.
Develop close working relationships with other departments in the company as well as external contacts.


7 + years related experience; digital marketing, software, development or digital product management Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information systems management or equivalent preferred
Background in a consulting firm and/or agency roles such as account director, account management, practice director a plus
Experience working in a corporate environment a plus
Strong/expert background in analytics with demonstrated ability to synthesize data and insights from multiple sources into meaningful conclusions and actionable strategic plans that support business objectives
Ability to build and leverage relationships with cross-functional/external stakeholders to both gain understanding of business objectives and obstacles and also to facilitate execution of strategic direction
Digital native with a clear understanding of digital technology and consumer trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills that can explain technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to lead a project team in both waterfall and/or agile environments
