Job Description


Performing with minimal supervision, the timely and accurate pricing of securities on Global Plus. Manages and monitors daily automated pricing interfaces. Interacting with Key Private Bank, responsible for managing stale priced asset control process. Timely and accurate pricing ensures securities are valued correctly on customer statements and for client fees and investment review purposes. Acts as backup to the set up process for new assets on Global Plus and the maintenance of assets on the security master. Responsible for the timely and accurate filing of Securities Litigation proofs of claim and processing of class action settlement payments. Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem resolution skills are critical to succeeding in this position.


Responsible for the accurate and timely pricing of securities on Global Plus accounting system.
Monitors daily automated pricing interfaces.
Reviews alternative investment valuation statements and updates pricing based on analysis.
Researches pricing sources for securities that are not priced by automated vendors.
Maintains professional relationship with vendors, trust officers and investment managers.
Resolves inquiries pertaining to pricing of securities.
Inputs data into accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
Acts as backup to the asset set up and verification functions within the Asset Maintenance & Pricing unit. Duties include reviewing requests for the setup of securities on the Global Plus accounting system, researching data sources, and inputting data into the accounting system.
Responsible for the timely and accurate filing of class action litigations for trust clients. Responsible for coordinating the research of class actions and filing of class action proof of claims. Some fiche research may be necessary.
Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of class action proceeds received in settlement of litigations for Key Private Bank and KPB Institutional Asset Services clients.
Manages vendor relationships with Class Action third party vendors.
Analyzes information received and performs a variety of control and processing functions leveraging knowledge of generally acceptable accounting principals and securities industry procedures to properly accomplish underlying transactions.
Maintains detailed, accurate, and organized work files.
Reviews work processes for opportunities for improvement. Initiates, develops, and implements process improvement.
Cross-trains on other unit desks to expand knowledge base and to assist with open desk coverage.


Four-year degree in business with a concentration in finance, accounting or management or related work experience. Securities industry experience and/or related analytical work experience is helpful.
