Job Description


Demonstrates understanding of each lockbox processing function. Partners closely with Lockbox Transmissions to achieve service level agreements (SLA’s). Facilitates the movement of mail, checks, and documents within lockbox efficiently. Distributes Lockbox work according to client deadlines. Prepares information for clients and service partners according to specified procedures and instructions.


Assists associates in routine lockbox processing functions. Works independently within scope of job function. Distributes work to set associates, item processors, transports, and data entry associates. Responsible for the timely delivery of work to various functions in lockbox. Acts as a functional team member supporting production needs. Follows established corporate and department policies and procedures. Receives, sorts, prepares and processes remittances and invoice data in line with customer established procedures, standard banking policy and customer deadlines. Reassociates invoices and document photocopies. Packaging and mailing of remittances, reports, mail sort, etc.


Acts as support for other production functions. Other duties as assigned.


High school diploma or equivalent. Requires the ability to read and follow instructions. Eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and the ability to operate general office equipment. Excellent 10 key skill with PC/keyboard experience. Flexible, able to work additional hours as needed. Ability to stand and/or walk for a eight hour shift.

Availability to work:
Typical work hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and/or until completion of work. Please note that start times and end times change throughout the week and with peak times based on production and volume. Able to work additional hours as needed. Ability to work extended hours for quarterly processing peaks typically working 10 - 12 hours daily during the end of January, April, July and October (although dates could be subject to change.) Able to work two mandatory Saturday shifts per quarter, typically the last two weekends of January, April, July, and October (again dates could be subject to change).


Prior lockbox or equivalent experience in a production environment.

PC- RemitTrac - Phone - General office equipment – mail carts – tubs – automated check extraction equipment . May be required to use check and document imaging equipment, or any other equipment in Lockbox.


Lockbox training curriculum as assigned. RemitTrac. My Learning Center classes as assigned. On the job training as necessary.
