Job Description

Software Engineer (Enterprise Architect) to work in Brooklyn, OH:
Design and develop ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) software architecture to process data from numerous heterogeneous sources, including distributed storage systems Hadoop, relational databases Teradata, MySQL, SQL Server, IBM DB2, Oracle and NoSQL databases MongoDB, cloud data sources Snowflake and REST API services. Transform the schema of the data to make it uniform with other data sources and matching the client's schema. Ingest data into permanent target database. Develop complex SQL Queries aimed at exponentially increasing the performance of heavy traffic databases from seconds to milliseconds. Designing and developing web applications using C#, Java, Node.js, React.js, Angaular.js with backend connecting to IBM DB2, Teradata, MongoDB databases and hosting them on web servers. Develop blockchain applications using Hyperledger and Etheruem and establish multiple consensus nodes for transaction approvals. Develop software for web data connectors for Tableau using Agile methodologies. Develop SAS software programs for heavy data conversions and develop SAS data step programs using PROC SQL, PROC MEANS, PROC COMPARE, and PROC FREQ. Develop high performance and high computing architectures with scalable infrastructure components to host Python and R Studio Server on Cloud Service Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. Establish web service with secured access to execute R programs through web browser. Design and develop Python and R software programs to perform financial analysis, prediction models and apply machine learning algorithms K-nearest neighbor algorithm, multivariate adaptive regression, naive bayes classifier. Develop advanced Cognos drill through reports and dashboards with embedded JavaScript APIs Leaslet.js, Google Maps using IBM Report Studio and IBM Framework Manager. Design and develop advanced analytics and visualizations in D3js framework and develop interactivity in tableau dashboard. Design, develop and implement software-based security solutions at every step of software development life cycle (SDLC).

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as twelve (12) months in job or job related experience to include all job duties listed above. Suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
