ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF):
Partner with Small Business Wellness Advisors (SBWAs) and Branch teams to acquire, expand and retain business clients with fundamental and advanced cash management needs. The inside sales representative will identify prospect/client needs and participate in various aspects of client management, including calling via conference call and relationship reviews for clients with fundamental and advanced cash management needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Works with the branch and SBWA team to educate them on the cash management suite of products, to include product features, value proposition and pricing.
• Responsible for supporting branch teams and SBWA team to uncover cash management opportunities within each of their perspective markets and strategize on how to uncover viable prospects
• Helps branches to build confidence and business acumen by providing cash management expertise through joint calling efforts and other collaborative opportunities
• Prepares Cash Management proposals for clients, and identifies any additional referral opportunities to other lines of business as appropriate
• Maintain fluid communication with internal partners to provide seamless service to clients and prospects.
• Respond to client requests (direct or through partner referrals), obtain information necessary to track and implement client set ups seamlessly and flawlessly.
• Engages SB Cash Management Team leader for any complex client issues or concerns
• Effectively builds client relationships in a fast paced, virtual environment through both telephone and email correspondence
• Act with sense of urgency to respond to client and partner requests to maximize trusted advisor status.
• Adheres to internal policies, laws, and regulations and completes risk training on time
• Maintain standards of professionalism conduct business ethically, avoid conflicts of interest and acts in the best interest of our clients and Key.
• Meets and exceeds individual sales goals while contributing to the overall sales success of the team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant business experience
• Minimum 2 years cash management experience preferred
• Proven track record of success in a client focused environment with aggressive sales/service goals
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule Mon-Fri
• This team will be responsible for covering business in all KeyBank regions (Maine to Alaska)
• Strong financial acumen including the ability to read and understand income statements
• Exceptional negotiating and closing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to effectively utilize consultative and strategic solution selling skills and deliver products and services based on identified value proposition

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven success in over the phone sales Knowledge of the complete cash/treasury management solutions set
• MBA and/or CTP
