Job Description

Laurel Road, a brand of Key Bank, is part of the expanding FinTech space: we offer Mortgages, Student Loans, and Personal Loans through a digital online experience, https://www.laurelroad.com. We simplify the process for both borrowers and bankers, while increasing choices of products, improving tracking, and offering a positive banking experience.
SENIOR UX/UI DESIGNER WITH LAUREL ROAD ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Contribute to the creation of best-in-class User Experience (UX) across digital lending product suite
  • Support UX strategy/design with optimized User Interface (UI) design via low-fidelity (paper) and high-fidelity (digital) prototypes
  • Create print assets, e.g., postcards, buck-slips, folded mailers, direct mail letters, etc.
  • Create digital assets e.g., banner ads, html emails, etc.
  • Create presentation decks in PowerPoint.
  • Contribute to identification and implementation of process efficiencies between design, requirements and development teams
  • Remain current with latest graphic design, marketing and communication trends across print and digital design efforts
  • Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Xd.
  • Thorough understanding of PowerPoint presentation creation.
  • Conceptual thinker who possesses a wide range of design capabilities including user experience design, user interface design, brand and editorial design, typography, and layout.
  • Able to problem solve and find multiple design solutions.
  • Strong understanding of marketing design and best practices.
  • Working understanding of latest web technologies and best practices.
  • A solid background in print, branding, typography, and web/digital design experience, including product UX/UI.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience; BA/BFA Preferred
  • 5+ Years relevant UX/UI Design experience
