Job Description

To provide System Analysis, Project and Product support for the development, enhancement and on-going support of the card and deposit products for the Community Bank Core Deposits domain.

This position is a very highly visible position within the organization which is designed to achieve maximized profit potential and/or market share by directing allocated resources to assist in the execution of new product rollout, system enhancements, compliance/ risk mitigation, training and daily support of the card, rewards and core application & pricing that run within the Key Bank suite of systems.

  • Provide business, system and operational analysis and maintenance to sustain and maximize performance for Card, rewards & deposit products through the internal KeyBank deposit applications and associated vendors.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on development projects from inception to ensure the project design and implementation meets the application support policies.
  • Perform analysis/research of system and operational capabilities and modifications based on desired requirements
  • Develop necessary scope, requirements and technical specification documents to support small projects and break/fix.
  • Manage testing coordination, execution and sign-off of internal and external changes including vendor changes.
  • Assist system users and support and delivery teams by analyzing and responding to system and operational inquiries and irregularities.
  • Provide 24x7 support to vendor and technology teams by providing analysis and direction on the resolution of system outages.
  • Participate in various workshops in order to understand industry trends, upcoming compliance changes and maintain knowledge of core deposits trends and processing.


  • The ability to manage small to large projects
  • The ability to multi task in a fast paced environment


  • Knowledge of Key Bank system architecture preferred
  • Work experience with Mastercard, TSYS, FIS a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Consumer banking industry knowledge
  • Understanding and experience with multiple Key systems and LOB’s
  • Ability to travel to meetings and seminars
  • Interact with internal and external partners at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, communications and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven technical Systems Analyst experience with exceptional attention to detail


Proven experience within the Retail Banking – core deposits industry banking
