ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

The Senior Strategist reports to the Strategic Growth Alliances Leader and is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and improving the company’s business development objectives of growing households at KeyBank through KeyBank’s Financial Wellness solutions. Individual will be responsible for the supporting business development throughout the sales life cycle including but not limited to conducting research, building business models to quantify the business opportunity for prospective clients; support the identification and acquisition of new clients and maintain and develop current business relationships. The individual will also document and work with internal partners to deliver business requirements to support business development.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Build out business models and reports to analyze and track financial wellness business results and clearly communicate out results
  • Responsible for conducting, analyzing, organizing and communicating research on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, competitors, customer demographics and needs, new technologies and more
  • Provides logistical and technical support to Business Development Manager in helping to acquire new business relationships
  • Work directly with internal Financial Wellness and KeyBank partners to deliver required capabilities to support new clients including but not limited to building out business requirements for technical integrations, marketing materials to support the sales process and the creation of legal documents
Additional Responsibilities:

  • May serve as a project member on Financial Wellness related projects
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in business analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Proven ability to solve problems
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Ability to interact with business partners such as Financial Wellness Partners and other internal partners such as Marketing, Strategy, Technology and Operations and Legal
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Undergraduate degree in a business related field
