Job Description

Responsible for leading the Real Estate Specialist team as a backup to the Department Manager in a highly demanding production environment ensuring accounts remain within SLA.

The position supports and contributes to the team in the completion of consumer loan processing related to the collateral review and final approval on retained system approvals. Responsible for providing superior client service while maintaining compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures and controls.

Develop and mentor staff for a strong, reliable, and highly motivated team; provide a learning environment, productivity and quality standards, with recognition and development for employees. Proactively lead team in identifying and resolving issues.

Partner with other departments, LOB’s, credit analysts, and management to allow achievement of company goals.

Essential Job Functions: ­
Be proficient at Real Estate Specialist job functions/duties. ­
Develop and manage employee progress daily through various reports to measure individual and team production performance. ­
Complete audits on each employee monthly, track results, and provide reports to management. ­
Daily stats and monitoring completed to ensure that team is meeting current service levels as agreed upon by management.
Monitor work queues within ACAPS to maintain proper turn around times.­
Complete other miscellaneous job functions or projects as assigned by Department Manager. ­
Attend meetings as scheduled and conduct weekly team meetings as required in the absence of the Department Manager.
Complete and maintain updates to monthly RES schedule. ­
Provide input for team members yearly Performance Review. ­
Answer Keycenter rep questions and inquiries.
Prioritize work for self and team.
­Development of self to better support team and future advancement.
­Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
­Train and coach employees. ­
Prepare and maintain team procedures.
Meet and/or exceed established department goals. ­
Ability to work hours between 8 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. and/or weekend shifts on a rotating basis.
Ability to work overtime hours as needed.

Education/Work Experience:
Minimum 2 years Consumer Lending experience desirable.
High school diploma, post secondary degree, and/or training desirable. BA in business or related field or job experience equivalent.

Required Skills: ­

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. ­
