The Senior Product Manager reports to the Sr. Manager, Consumer Credit Product and is accountable for strategic development of new and management of existing products in the consumer credit portfolio. This role will have primary responsibility for Key’s Non-Equity Collateralized products. As a key contributor on the team, this individual will also assist other Product Managers with planning, developing and implementing enhancements or services that add-value to our credit customer and to Key’s strategic objectives.

  • Lead strategy for non-equity banking product development and value propositions in alignment with segment strategies and customer needs.
  • Oversee all aspects of product management of existing non residential collateralized direct loans.
  • Assess competitive landscape, industry trends and market demand as it relates to non-equity products and services, including driving research needs.
  • Manage profitability drivers of products to ensure they meet profitability hurdles.
  • Drive the technology requirements for new and existing product enhancements, including appropriate test planning.
  • Lead teams cross functional teams - Sales and Marketing, Client Experience, Branch and Call Center operations, Technology, Legal and Compliance - to ensure timely delivery of product management projects
  • Ensure strict adherence with product policies and guidelines to ensure all legal, compliance and audit standards are met.
  • Oversight of consumer disclosure and change in terms communication strategies and execution relating to product and policy changes.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize delivery based on key objectives.
  • Prepare business reviews to highlight findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Oversee multiple vendor relationship s and inter-affiliate agreements relating to banking products and services.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • May serve as a project manager on consumer product related projects across various channels (Online, Branch, Call Center, etc..)

  • 5 to 10 years of experience managing product strategy and development in banking/ financial services
  • Direct product P/L responsibility.
  • Understanding of Retail Banking products and segment needs
  • Undergraduate degree in a business related field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Financial and analytical thinking and the ability to forecast
  • Working knowledge of PC (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc).
