About the Job
The primary objective of the Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics position is to lead a team of quantitative analysts in the development and sharing of meaningful insights, actionable analytics, and applicable plans and/or corrective actions through various advanced statistical and modeling analyses so as to improve the strategy and tactics of KeyBank to drive profitability and customer centric improvements. Through the use of new ideas and innovative approaches to analytics, leads the organization towards optimizing and maximizing returns on current and future marketing investments. Leads a team focused on sophisticated analytics for Marketing within KeyBank which provides quality insights into marketing programs focused on relationship deepening.

Job Functions

  • Lead a team of quantitative analysts to provide meaningful insights, actionable analytics, and applicable plans or corrective actions through various appropriate advanced statistical and/or modeling analyses so as to improve KeyBank’s overall performance.
  • Execute the strategic direction of Marketing Analytics in support of Life Cycle programs. Through strong data analytics and modeling drive efficient use of marketing dollars to effectively retain and deepen existing households and their relationships. Use of external data, benchmarks and analytical tools to optimize marketing investments.
  • Provide actionable and insightful knowledge from advanced statistical modeling, data mining, customer profiling and quantitative analyses with the goals of: identifying cross-sell, up-sell, retention or acquisition opportunities, assessing opportunities to improve marketing profitability, targeting the delivery of products and services to customers, validating and tracking model and campaign performance, developing next-best product and assessing customer behavior over time.
  • Oversee data driven marketing analysis and marketing campaigns by utilizing predictive modeling.
  • Participate in strategic marketing decisions for a variety of customer segments, advertising, direct marketing and promotional initiatives while remaining sensitive to the customer touch point frequency. Establish test & learn strategy that drives optimization improvements across all marketing life cycle programs
  • Drive customer-centric culture through data and analytics so as to provide the best possible experience for current and future customers.
  • Create a high performing culture focused on career development by identifying, developing and retaining top talent.
  • Ensure clear goals, expectations and accountabilities are understood and well managed throughout Marketing Analytics. Provide communication, leadership and coaching to develop teammates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics or Mathematics (MBA preferred)
  • 7+ years of quantitative analytics or statistical modeling experience, with at least three in a managerial role.
  • Extensive experience in modeling, analysis, market segmentation and data analytics
  • Experience creating, sending, and measuring mass marketing campaigns, high regard for data integrity and ability to work with business partners in extracting actionable insights
  • Advance skills in SAS, R, Python, Quantitative Analysis and Microsoft Excel
