Job Description

Contribute to the design, delivery, automation, and support of infrastructure services and solutions; partners cross-functionally to come up with solutions. Builds, maintains, and documents infrastructure components for work assigned; performs peer reviews.
Participates in the overall health, performance, and availability and actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments, applications, or platforms. Embraces mentorship and training from senior engineers; shares own perspective on KeyBank processes and/or applicable trends and previous experiences. Tests continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses and/or improve efficiency. Follows and recommends IT standards (e.g. info security, audit, compliance, etc.). Assesses the technical viability of new and existing solutions and capabilities. Contributes to technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts to deliver: mature monitoring, improved resiliency, and high availability. Develops white papers and finds opportunity for knowledge sharing presentations. Provide analysis, design, engineering, and consulting for systems management tools used within Key's environment.

Essential Job Function:
Under limited supervision from management, provides device integration engineering expertise to the KeyBank client computing environment.
Interface with vendors as well as other Key Technology & Operations teams to maintain and support the environment
Assist with testing and deployment of end user and business applications.
Perform product evaluation, selection and integration responsibilities.
Development and enforcement of technology standards, develop white papers and deliver presentations to management.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation requires evaluation and judgment.
Manage and design distributed platforms.
Produce service levels consistent with current business needs and future requirements.
Ensure the control, reliability, performance, and security of all distributed platforms and client devices.
Establish standards and guidelines.
Support and coach the enterprise help desk and field support in effectively supporting Key Bank's workforce.
Rotating 24/7 on-call responsibilities.
Working knowledge of UNIX/INTEL/Web/Client/Database/Network technologies and computing concepts.
Display composure during demanding situations in addition to day to day activities.
Effective communicator in individual and group settings (verbal and written).
Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal clients.
Escalate issues and problems to senior team members and management as required.
Expertise in ITIL concepts.
