"ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

The Sr. Business Program Manager will support the overall mission of the Dealer Retail Services department and be a key internal resource to Sales, Credit, and Operations in the areas of project management, technical/operational support, and risk management. More specifically, the incumbent will represent the LOB and provide management and strategic oversight of all LOB projects/initiatives. In addition, the incumbent will work closely with risk and compliance partners to ensure that all necessary controls are in place with respect to third party management, fair and responsible banking, and complaints management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develop a thorough understanding of the business and its functions, processes, operations, customers, and competitive environment.
• Keep abreast of business and market trends which may affect business department
• Coordinate the planning and implementation of new projects, products, programs, and plans to achieve short and long term business objectives
• Serve as Dealer Retail Services team lead on all projects and intiatives impacting the line of business.
• Develop and foster relationships with LOB functional managers, business partners, and vendor partners to prioritize projects and provide direction to achieve business objectives.
• Partner with project managers and/or project resources to define project scope, scope changes, objectives, requirements, deliverables, dependencies, and value proposition, and to assist with problem resolution.
• Understand the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team in order to meet established goals and objectives.
• Support business case development, project budget proposals, and BID process as required.
• Supports planning and implementation of any training needs resulting from projects/initiatives.
• Communicate status of projects and initiatives with LOB and key stakeholders on a regular basis through various means.
• Develop and recommend strategic direction to LOB for Risk mitigants.
• Partner with Business Risk & Controls in developing, documenting, and maintaining LOB compliance and operational risks and related controls.
• Partner with Business Risk & Controls to effectively manage LOB vendors under KeyBank’s Third Party Management Program.
• Serve as Engagement Manager for Origenate, DealerTrack, and RoueOne, and complete required action items outlined in KeyBank’s GRC portal.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, and KTO to administer and renegotiate (as necessary) contracts with LOB third party vendors.
• Partner with Executive Client Relations (ECR) to develop, document, and maintain LOB complaints management program.
• Coordinate with Legal the annual review of dealer agreement and related addendums.
• Support various regulatory/compliance/RRG requirements as needed.
• Perform other assignments/projects as requested by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent experience in financial services industry required
• 5+ years of consumer lending operations experience, preferably leading to an understanding of auto lending operations and related origination and servicing systems.
• 5+ years project management experience
• Knowledge and experience with standard project development/management methodologies and tools required.
• Ability to identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete responsibilities timely to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced and detail oriented environment
• Goal-oriented and able to work independently to achieve results
• Strong computer skills (proficiency with MS Office programs required)
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong time management and organization skills
