About the Business

As the internal audit function within KeyBank, the Risk Review Group (RRG) provides an independent assessment of Key’s processes and risks. As a trusted advisor, the RRG tests the adequacy and effectiveness of KeyBank’s risk management practices, makes recommendations for improvement, and monitors remediation efforts. The RRG is accountable to the KeyCorp Audit Committee and reporting is provided to key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and associated committees, executive and line of business management, and KeyBank’s regulators.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Solid understanding of risks and controls.
  • Solid understanding of the various phases of an audit, including the ability to independently document walkthroughs; develop test steps; execute fieldwork testing and the emerging ability to lead reviews.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely document observations within workpapers including root cause and impact.
  • Ability to communicate test information and initial findings with internal management and line of business (LOB) personnel.
  • Foundational understanding of business, industry and regulatory concepts within assigned LOBs; expanding knowledge across businesses and functions.
  • Intermediate business writing skills including strong grammar and sentence structure skills; can cohesively present and organize information; developing formal audit writing skills.
  • Developing ability to execute multiple assignments by required deadlines; identifies obstacles within the scope of assignments and appropriately escalates; demonstrates initiative to suggest solutions.
  • Ability to present information to team and lead.
  • May assist in the preparation or delivery of a formal presentation or training.
  • Developing ability to tailor message for audience within the scope of assignments.
  • Proactively collaborates with others, regardless of team, to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Emerging leadership skills.
Requirements
Relevant Professional Experience: 2+ years
Bachelor’s Degree Required

Candidates could be hired as a Job Grade 78 (Auditor), Job Grade 80 (Sr. Auditor) or Job Grade 82 (Sr. Lead Auditor).
