Job Description

  • Effectively contribute to individual engagements or mid-size teams.
  • Partner and collaborate with assigned KeyCorp technology groups to deliver value through best-in-class risk review and risk evaluation services by: 1) identifying technology risks within Key’s Environment, 2) recommending efficient and effective processes for managing these risks, and 3) formulating and executing annual risk review/evaluation plans.
  • Thoroughly understand the objectives of significant enterprise wide projects to identify value added recommendations leveraging banking knowledge and IT audit skills.
  • Efficiently executes one or more audit projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, which may include directing internal team members as well as resources from other teams within the Risk Review Group
  • Responsible for reviewing the project team’s implementation of the Standard Project Management Lifecycle Framework through the employment of project management concepts while identifying areas of heightened risk and associated controls to mitigate.
  • Successfully identify, track, escalate and resolve findings; performs impact analysis and prioritization; and escalates risk with corrective/mitigating actions.
  • Accountable for the effective presentation of ideas and information in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to a wide range of audiences (regulators, peers, external audit firms).
  • Occasional interaction with regulatory agencies and external accounting firms may be necessary.
  • Lead and manage internal process improvement initiatives within Risk Review Group to: 1) support best in class continuous improvement strategies, 2) enhance individual and divisional productivity, and 3) enhance the quality of services and deliverables
  • Bachelors Degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
  • 2-4 years of technology audit and/or project management experience or comparable technology risk, control and analysis experience
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent client service, relationship management, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Broad technology knowledge
  • Experience with the following: business application systems, mainframe zOS, distributed server environments (Unix, Windows, etc.), databases (Oracle, DB2, etc.), middleware (Ab Initio, Websphere, Webmethods, etc.), and networking technologies
  • Comprehensive and current knowledge of information technology strategies including the following IT practices and processes: information security, continuity and recovery, and problem and change management, data interface controls, system performance controls
  • Proven ability to understand and analyze medium/complex business processes and technologies to make sound recommendations
  • Experience with the Standard Project Management Lifecycle Framework including phases and required deliverables
  • Proven ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent multitasker with ability to manage changing priorities

  • Comprehensive and current knowledge of financial service company products, services, and strategies
  • Previous Project Management Experience
  • MBA preferred in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
  • Preferred Certification:
    Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
    Project Management Professional (PMP)
    PMI – Risk Management Professional
