Job Brief:
Effectively lead and inspire a team of Credit Assistants and/or Specialists to accurately and effectively review consumer credit applications through consistent individualized coaching, communication, and development. Provide leadership and management to enable functional group efficiencies, service excellence, quality effectiveness, continuous process improvement, and world-class service. This individual would provide coaching and training, monitor client expectations, service level agreements, production and quality metrics to ensure client satisfaction while managing risk and process improvement.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem solving and organizational skills. Experience working in a fast paced environment.

Preferred qualifications:
College Degree, General knowledge of consumer loan products, Knowledge of consumer loan documentation, and experience working with the ACAPS, ALS, HOGAN, and KVD applications. Prior experience working with vendor management companies and familiar with loan estimate/TRID requirements.

Essential Job Function:
Lead and motivate an operation’s team in the achievement of established service and quality goals. Provide monthly coaching and career path direction for direct reports based on analysis of key performance indicators, work action reviews, side-by-side and silent monitoring of behavioral skill-sets, and evaluation of competencies. Prepare, administer and retain performance improvement counseling, performance reviews, and developmental action plans. Evaluate key performance indicators associated with designated operational processes. Recommend and implement areas of opportunity identified and select appropriate course of action. Collaborate with other teams within the Consumer Loan Center and Loan Services Group to facilitate the timely resolution of escalated issues and challenges.
Ensure team adherence to policies and procedures including those related to regulatory compliance.
Manage and maintain complete knowledge of Performance Improvement Plan process, time/attendance, and PTO records for all team members. Participate in and facilitate information sharing with your manager, business partners, peers, and direct reports in a timely and efficient fashion to ensure widespread communication. Complete other miscellaneous job functions or projects as assigned.
