Job Brief:
The Indirect Funding Section Manager will provide direct leadership to a team of Credit Assistants who perform contract review, discounting, and dealer servicing functions. The primary responsibility of the Section Manager is to support a high performing, multi-process work team in the completion of Indirect Auto loan processing tasks related to loan origination. The person filling this position will adhere to service levels and quality goals as well as departmental procedures. The incumbent will provide superior quality customer service while incorporating the essence of the Key Values. He/she will facilitate efficient, effective and compliant loan processing for Indirect Auto loans. Participate in periodic meetings with Sales, Product Management, Collections and LOB personnel for various purposes not limited to funding procedures, special projects, continuous process improvement or portfolio management.

Essential Job Function:

• Lead employee related initiatives such as interviewing and hiring, setting performance objectives, training, and
individual development plans

• Manage risk and control in the line of business and continuously monitor compliance to regulatory requirements in
all areas of the business

• Develops and implements new processes/procedures to improve operating efficiency and to ensure timeliness
and accuracy of workflow

• Coordinate with both business and support partners to ensure a seamless process flow

• Actively participate in meetings with Consumer Quality Control and Business Risk & Control partners

• Ability to identify production issues within the loan origination system and get the correct parties involved to
resolve with as little disruption to daily activity as possible

• Act as a technical SME in testing new system enhancements and regression testing for system upgrades

• Assist Operational Balance & Control in the clearing of outages related to loan proceed funding and dealer

• Train, mentor, and develop staff in their knowledge and capabilities surrounding the indirect auto business

Required Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of indirect auto business processes and loan originations.

• Expert level of understanding in indirect auto loan documents, including installment contracts, credit
applications, title applications, and dealer rebateables.

• Advanced knowledge of auto loan originations systems and loan booking parameters and set up processes

• Prior experience supervising a team in a high volume production environment

• Quality focused with attention to process detail and efficiency

• Working knowledge of general ledgers associated with indirect auto loan and dealer reserve accounting

• Service oriented with a focus on providing ease, value, and expertise in all interactions with clients

Reporting Relationships:
Reports to the Manager of Indirect Auto Fulfillment. Works closely with LOB Sales, Credit, and Product Management
