  • Creates and maintains Salesforce FSC strategic roadmap for KPB, provides consistent support and development to broader business strategy roadmap
  • Continuously improve understanding of Salesforce FSC, forming close partnership with Salesforce representatives and partners at KeyBank and associated strategic and implementation teams
  • Gain a full understanding of AppExchange products and partners that may become integration points for our Salesforce deployment
  • Plan and facilitate requirements definition sessions with stakeholders to capture business requirements
  • Work with the project team to understand and gather the business and functional requirements, defining and prioritizing requirements
  • Maps functional requirements to Salesforce features and functionality
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to understand the daily associate experience through review of quantitative and qualitative performance indicators including; operational metrics, associate surveys, direct associate feedback, others
  • Communicates regularly regarding the associate experience and Salesforce platform
  • Autonomously undertakes ad hoc analysis to understand emerging user experience trends and relay to management/project teams
  • Drives the efficient and effective operation of new functionality development and develop processes to implement per technology organization agile process
  • Serves as a proactive resourceful problem solver for the business unit user base
  • Prepares for project milestone and engagement reviews as well as other business reviews and updates
  • Provides status updates as well as direction and recommendations for project progression
  • Ensures quality assurance, data governance, and standard procedures are adhered to throughout the project
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current and stored
  • Coordinates and manages the work of cross-functional team members and outside vendors to meet goals
  • Coordinates UAT testing on behalf of KPB business users and defined user groups
  • Create detailed requirements, use cases, guides, and diagrams for product releases
  • Ensure projects are implemented according to requirements
  • Write test plans, cases & scripts as required
  • Work with technology project management on delivery and management of project scope, resources and schedule
  • Leverage advanced SF expertise and build strong relationships across the organization to assess the current experience and identify opportunities for improvement within the platform
  • This role will also be responsible for researching, analyzing and coordinating key initiatives for the Private Bank and will participate in many management meetings. This role will be active within all of areas of the Private Bank (Wealth Advisory, Portfolio Management, Financial Planning, Credit, Trust and Insurance) and will be seen as an advisor who can produce results horizontally across various business units
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications (and vice versa) and bridge the gap between the needs of KPB and the services of Key’s technology and operations units and third party vendors
  • Work closely with KPB business units to effectively deliver solutions benefiting end clients
  • Additional Job Functions include:

  • Interface with business partners in Key Technology and Operations, Investment Management, Trust Administration, KPB Risk Office, Procurement, Sales Leaders, etc. as well as third party providers
  • Provides expertise and leadership where necessary on technology projects for KPB
  • Owns GRC action items for existing business technology platforms
  • Day-to-day oversight of business processes and functions related to Salesforce technology platforms used by KPB
  • Application release management and communications for the business
  • Develop strong understanding of KPB business priorities, strategies, processes, products, systems
  • Work to improve business processes and capabilities within the scope of designated work or projects
  • Act as a lead technology and infrastructure expert for Key Private Bank
  • Define processes and write procedures as necessary
  • Maintains compliance with and follows all internal policies and procedures
    Assists in implementing best practices and meeting the needs of the business with thoughtful creativity
  • Maintains understanding of financial industry, financial technology landscape, and other related areas
  • Participates in various committees as needed


  • Undergraduate degree in a business or technology related field
  • Experience implementing, enhancing, supporting Salesforce CRM (FSC a plus)
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal, strong ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
  • Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access, Visio


  • MBA in business discipline preferred
  • Experience working with sandbox and production environments to manage release testing and develop new ideas
  • Experience with Wealth Management/financial services tools and systems
  • Product/Platform ownership experience
  • Experience working with agile project delivery model
  • Experience as a champion for new technology adoption
  • Expertise in PowerPoint presentations, other project management tools and cadences
  • Project Management designation

  • Knowledgeable in current and future policies, practices and trends in the wealth management industry and/or CRM usage at mid-to-large organizations
  • Experience in working in fast-paced environment and juggling simultaneous projects
  • Knowledge of managing vendors and service integrators
  • Strong analytical and product/project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret client business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter experts
