Job Description

The Risk Analyst position resides within Risk Reporting supporting the entire Risk Management function.

Essential Job Functions
-Gathers and analyzes data related to the preparation and design of financial regulatory or asset quality reports.
-Prepares monthly and quarterly reports for both internal and external use.
-Prepares ad-hoc reports as needed.
-Provide credit risk analytical support by performing analyses and producing reports for senior management in accordance with established deadlines.
-Establish and implement a continuous improvement plan to improve the efficiency quality and analysis of credit risk reporting.
-Identify and resolve data integrity issues.
-Design/develop new reports to address evolving management needs.
-Support Portal development and user requests for additional content
-Provide leadership in various projects/efforts to expand reporting capabilities
-Research questions and work to improve Risk Management processes.
-Perform specialized analysis and ongoing research as directed.
-Monitor trends investigate and elevate exceptions.
-Prepare or coordinate the preparation of department or function procedures to ensure that all activities and reporting are well documented.

Required Skills
-Bachelor degree in business with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience
-Proficient to advanced skill set in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Powerpoint.
-Excellent analytical skills.
-intermediate/advanced level query writing/coding
-ability to work with big data, navigate data warehouse and/or data supply chain
-intermediate/advanced data visualization/Tableau
-strong project management skills
-knowledge of process flow
-Proficient in bank application systems.
-Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
-Highly motivated and self-sufficient.
-General credit knowledge.
