The Recruiting Operations Vendor Optimization Manager provides support to various vendor management activities within the Talent Acquisition team. In this position you will serve as a liaison between vendor activities and our recruiting staff, providing support to both parties as questions and concerns arise.

You will be responsible for issue escalation, review and management including issue identification, tracking, monitoring, resolution and reporting. You will play a critical role in the ongoing success of the relationship with the vendor and its impact on Key’s recruiting activity. This role touches a variety of exciting projects relating to Key’s HR technology roadmap, candidate experience, talent attraction and continuous improvement initiatives. Further responsibilities include ensuring the recruiting team is well-trained and has the tools and resources needed to be effective in utilizing our many recruitment technologies. The successful candidate must have experience managing projects and vendors, possess a continuous improvement mindset, and have outstanding communication and organization skills.

Essential Job Functions
  • Use data and statistics from various sources (surveys, vendor performance reports, third party reports, etc.) to identify trends, key issues, performance gaps and collaborate with Recruiting Operations team and vendor to develop action plans.
  • Prepare and deliver executive level reporting to business managers on the status of the vendor performance.
  • Participate in and/or lead continuous improvement projects related to recruiting technology (candidate experience, recruiter user optimization, hiring manager support, etc.).
  • Assist in the development, delivery and ongoing review of vendor performance goals and SLAs; preparation of reports and presentations on the progress of service provider activity (and related metrics) to provide updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • As gaps in operational processes or deterioration in quality are identified, partner with vendors and recruiting operations team to develop logical and workable solutions to address deficiencies.
  • Serve as primary contact for all TA vendors often overseeing system access requests, training, troubleshooting and workflow related questions.
  • Research of industry competition to analyze external market trends to help inform the organization and drive decisions on vendor planning and prioritization.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and reinforcement of process and operating procedures.
  • Ensure teams are kept informed about upcoming vendor changes.
  • Serve as backup for completing recruiting operations activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of vendor management experience. This could be either a full-time vendor manager role or as part of another role.
  • Strong project management, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrates strong influencing skills; is not an order taker.
  • Aptitude for overcoming obstacles, proactively managing expectations and relationships, providing innovative ideas and sharing best practices.
  • Ability to plan, manage time effectively and work on own with limited direction.
  • Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit and a thirst for knowledge of the business.
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and proactively guide resources working across the KeyBank footprint.
  • Efficient, proactive and resourceful; leverages technology and seeks to contribute.
  • Drive to deliver results, take accountability and ownership of work, and proactively strive for continuous improvement.
