ABOUT THE JOB
This individual will play a critical role in shaping the overall talent acquisition strategy for KeyBank, serving as a thought leader at the intersection of recruiting analytics, technology, operations, processes, candidate experience, recruitment advertising and employment branding. The leader is responsible for analyzing data and working with the Talent Acquisition teams to identify, evaluate, and implement the systems and tools that best meet the needs of candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team so that KeyBank can most effectively and efficiently find, attract, and hire the best talent. The successful placement must be an analytics expert, deeply technologically savvy, and have the leadership ability to guide and optimize overall hiring practices, channels and tools. In essence, this person is to set the vision, strategy, and game plan for achieving the above.
This role will manage a team responsible for the end-to-end recruiting processes. Responsibilities will include identifying areas for process improvement, and building upon existing tools, resources, technology and reporting/analytics to ensure alignment with Keys recruiting strategy and business needs. S/he will partner with the Chief Talent Officer, Talent Acquisition Leaders, Recruiters, HR Technology & Operations and other senior leadership and staff at all levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
1. Partner with the various lines of business, technology partners, and HR peers to translate Key’s organization-wide strategy for recruiting a high-quality and diverse workforce into a strategy and road map for how technology, tools, social media, branding, and other outlets will be used to accomplish the objective
2. Assess recruiting processes and tools, identifying improvement opportunities and ways to simplify the recruiter, hiring manager, and candidate experiences that lead to best practices and more efficient recruiting and hiring practices while ensuring data integrity, reporting, and compliance with legal and client requirements
3. Lead the direct report team in its evaluation and enhancement of existing vendor relationships (relocation vendor, ATS provider, LinkedIn, etc.); recommend any appropriate changes in those relationships, contracts and associated technologies and processes
4. Oversee and manage the team responsible for implementing effective processes for screening, selection as well as reporting and insights related to recruitment performance against established key metrics while maintaining all supporting records and data, including applicant statistics for EEO reporting
5. Enhance, analyze and track recruitment metrics, reports and dashboards to help drive top performance in all processes and strategies
6. Lead projects to improve or maintain automated, end-to-end operational solutions as well as plan and direct the implementation of new functionality and upgrades, as appropriate, to the ATS and HR systems that impact recruiting, in partnership with the HR Technology & Operations team
7. Direct technology-enabled business process improvements and the development of end-user training programs
8. Keep abreast of industry trends, technology needs, and federal/state regulations, ensuring that HR systems and processes meet current and future needs and requirements; identify and communicate emerging issues related to recruiting compliance and operational practices; Researches cutting-edge technologies and evaluates the recruiting funnel
9. Act as technical SME in social media, technological advancements in the recruiting space, systems integration and process simplification
10. Lead and manage the recruiting operations team responsible for recruitment advertising and employment branding, setting the overall multi-year vision and plan in partnership with Talent Acquisition leadership and Key’s Marketing and Communications partners
11. Set priorities and identify risks. Monitor and evaluate work required to complete project and production tasks. Identify alternative strategies, methods, benefits and costs for meeting systems and business objectives. Communicate project statuses to TA management and staff. Facilitate communications on scope and progress of system and process projects and related changes.
12. Supervise, evaluate and develop assigned staff. Provide guidance and support in developing knowledge and skills needed to effectively deliver programs and services
13. Responsible for budgeting and cost tracking throughout the year; work closely with the TA leaders on cost control and understanding return on key investments
14. Optimizes the effectiveness of talent as an operation and drives consistency across the board

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Thorough knowledge of:
• Analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to work creatively and independently
• Modern management and administrative techniques related to the development and implementation of appropriate methods of work planning
• Digital capabilities and their impact on workforce management

Ability to:
• Plan, organize, manage, direct, and train a diverse set of functions and team members
• Set and re-set appropriate priorities
• Independently perform a wide range of complex and responsible management and technical assignments associated with recruiting operations
• Understand and apply the principles, concepts and work processes, laws, rules and reference materials pertinent to the professional operations of a comprehensive recruiting department.
• Gather and analyze data, reason logically, and make appropriate recommendations
• Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships both internally and externally, while dealing with sensitive and confidential personnel issues
• Clearly communicate ideas and recommendations both orally and in writing
• Rapidly acquire a thorough knowledge of the organizational and functional structures, as it relates to talent needs
• Interface and coordinate projects and programs with other departments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Social Media, Business Analytics or a related field OR relevant professional experience on a year-for-year basis that is judged to be equivalent
• At least five (5) years of progressively responsible management level experience
• At least five (5) years of experience managing complex technology and /or integration programs/projects
• Excellent written, technological and verbal communication skills
• A passion for simplification and continuous improvement as well as a strong customer focus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master's degree in a related field
• Demonstrated experience with the development and operational responsibility of recruiting, HR technology and operational excellence
• Operational HRIS experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
