Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for high quality new consumer checking sales and primary bank household growth
  • Collaborates with marketing, branch network and digital channel to identify and implement affinity acquisition roadmap and associated tactics (e.g., marketing plans, sales tactics)
  • Accountable for the design and execution of new acquisition engines to drive scalable sources of high quality checking and household acquisition growth leveraging our business banking client base (e.g., work place banking, membership banking)
  • Leads design and implementation of compelling new checking product affinity program solutions to drive primary bank household growth including understanding the competitive landscape, gathering VOC/VOE creating business cases, gaining stakeholder alignment, documenting business requirements, executing change management and go-to market plans required for successful program launch
  • Partners closely with Marketing to co-own annual checking acquisition affinity marketing program plans, analyze results and identify opportunities to optimize marketing performance and investments
  • Manages the Health Savings Account (HSA) product sales to optimize profitability by growing the portfolio and enhancing product features to meet client needs
  • Develop KPIs and implement scorecards to validate business cases and identify opportunities for optimize new programs launched
  • Identifies and implements experience improvements to champion operational excellence, client satisfaction, and employee satisfaction with checking account origination
  • Lead teams cross functional teams - Sales and Marketing, Client Experience, Branch and Call Center operations, Digital, Technology, Legal and Compliance - to ensure timely delivery of product management projects while keeping the leadership team informed at key milestones and engaging to resolve risks in a timely manner when identified by work team
  • Adheres to product policies and regulations to ensure all legal, compliance and audit standards are fully met.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize delivery based on strategic objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years’ experience in the banking / financial services or related industry (e.g. management consulting) with 3+ years of product management or strategy expertise
  • Strong financial acumen via demonstrated experience with forecasting, balance sheets and income statements
  • Robust analytical mindset and critical thinking skillset – including advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Understanding of Retail Banking products and consumer segment needs
  • Experience designing and implementing marketing plans (ideally across physical and digital distribution channels) and bringing ideas to market
  • Ability to approach a situation, identify and evaluate innovative options, recommend solution(s) including risks & opportunities, timeline and business case
  • Ability to manage a project including developing a concept into a robust solution, managing timelines and resources, identifying risks & opportunities, communicating project status
  • Ability to synthesize a large amount of data into a succinct strategy story
  • Strong knowledge of PC tools (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.) and reporting tools
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills
  • Undergraduate degree in a business related field or equivalent experience

  • Direct product P/L responsibility
  • Tableau reporting tool experience
  • M.B.A degree
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience using Design Thinking tools and Agile process
