Job Description

  • Lead the traditional product management functions associated with the Business Banking deposit portfolio including deposit products, pricing and deposit fee income.
    • Responsible for the overall growth and profitability of our deposit portfolio through aggressive management of products, pricing and campaigns. This includes the design, development and implementation of portfolio growth (both acquisitions and retention) plans.
    • Collaborate with segment, product leadership, retail deposit teams and our Finance partners on the development of accurate portfolio, product production, pricing and revenue forecasting. This may include owning and running both deposit portfolio forecasting and pricing models.
    • Drive and support innovation in the Business Banking segment for deposit products as well as the broader set of products and solutions utilized by our clients.
    • Align the Pricing Strategy with the business’ roadmap and growth expectations.
    • Partners with Marketing and our Sales & Service teams on the development of marketing programs that support our overall business banking strategy first but align with the unique goals and objectives of the deposit portfolio.
  • Assist in leading our path forward as we work to evolve and scale how the Business Banking segment leverages digital and data to expand and acquire relationships.
    • Provide thought and executional leadership
    • Be a leader in determining how we best utilize data to drive deeper client and prospect conversations and ultimately increasing revenue.
    • Bring to the team a strong understanding of analytical tools (SAS, Tableau etc.), the ability to gather data from multiple sources, the ability to work with these tools without aide and the ability to analyze data to make actionable recommendations.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert when it comes to our partnership with Enterprise Data & Insights ensuring that our needs are understood and that our requirements properly documented.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize delivery based on key objectives.
  • Prepare business reviews to highlight findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop recommendations to advise senior management on high-priority initiatives, including growth strategy, product and segment strategies, and cross business initiatives
  • Assist the segment as we develop an industry specific solutions packages for Business Banking clients
  • Guide / execute analysis of our markets, competitors, products and customers
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal and our 2nd and 3rd lines of defense as needed to properly manage our products
  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics or another quantitative discipline.
  • 5+ years experience in the banking industry with 3-5+ years of product management expertise
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills including forecast modeling
  • Understanding of the business and financial drivers for Business Banking is a plus
  • Ability to work with a team of knowledge professionals and partners
  • Ability to size and prioritize large-scale analytical initiatives across businesses
  • Ability to work effectively with senior and middle level managers and with large interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, active-listening); ability to structure and deliver clearly articulate presentations
