Primary responsibility is the acquisition of new Investment Management and Fiduciary/Trust clients. Additional responsibilities include expanding the share of wallet of existing clients by selling IM&T product and services. Develops centers of influence in the market that can be leveraged into profitable relationships. Responsible for the growth of high net worth client and prospect relationships while providing an optimal level of service by meeting or exceeding client expectations. Builds and nurtures relationships with prospects by developing, prospecting ideas. Builds a pipeline and generates sales. This position collaborates and performs as part of the relationship management team to execute the client strategy.

Master an effective first contact strategy and phone approach. Understand what differentiates KeyBank and develops a unique sales approach that differentiates Key from the rest of the marketplace. Effectively understand the most productive market niche and effectively prospect within the segment. Effectively master the ability to ask questions and qualify prospects early in the sales process. Meet or exceed a target number of calls per month and keep a robust and monitored pipeline, reviewed regularly with the Sales Managers and Market Managers. Fully understand and execute the level of activity necessary to achieve sales goals with a success formula. Ensure that products and services are delivered in the proper cannel through field offices. Utilize letter, articles, voicemail, seminars and client events to sell our services. Follow disciplined pre- call preparation. Become proficient at uncovering what will motivate a prospect to purchase our services. Be masterful at gaining commitment by the decision makers. Execute disciplined post- call debrief process, effective follow up and pipeline management. Fully understand strengths and weaknesses of clients' current provider and their decision making process. Present solutions to decision makers and obtain a clear yes, no or next step. Execute on appropriate signed documents and develop client relationship team and process. Set initial client strategy, introduce all new clients to Relationship Managers and set client expectations for onboarding and servicing by the team. This position collaborates and performs as part of the relationship management team to assure that the team sales goals are met by executing the client strategy. These team sales goals can include expanding existing client business, referrals or new business growth. This position is responsible for either meeting or exceeding assigned individual sales goals which can include expanding existing client business, referral and or new business growth. Provide ongoing contact with new clients to enhance client's initial experience with Key. Fully develop relationships to uncover additional services to be provided. Regularly ask satisfied clients for introductions to others they know who may need out services. Participate in KeyCorp's commitment to the community.

BA or equivalent with a specialty in finance, accounting, economics or other related field.
Comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry, with broad and deep knowledge of investment and trust products and services.
Established relationships in market network.
Proven sales and negotiations skills coupled with the ability to work on a team.
10+ years professional experience within the investment services industry.
10+ years investment management and trust sales experience.
Strong consulting, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver clear and effective client sales presentations.
Ability to use applicable equipment, which may include: PC Microsoft Office, Desktop and various Key proprietary systems.

Employees hired or transferring into this position will need to meet the qualification requirements, in Key's sole discretion, under Reg. Z, prior to acting as a loan originator in a consumer credit transaction secured by a dwelling.
