JOB BRIEF (PURPOSE): Candidate will be able to provide assistance to the department to manage foreclosure, REO and property preservation process quality testing for Consumer &/or Mortgage products. Candidate will need to critique processes in place and to make suggestions on best practices. Candidate will be required to identify gaps in the processes and workflows and develop solutions to those deficiencies. The candidate will analyze work of other team members and identify needs for correction and remediation. Candidate will be able to provide and run data on work done by the real estate department. The candidate should have a critical eye for understanding where errors have occurred by foreclosure, REO and property preservation processers and inform department manager of processing errors. Candidate will support collection of requested items related to internal & external auditors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist in managing the process quality testing. Audit and review the work of foreclosure, REO & property preservation processors to provide preventative controls over the work before it effects the department or the bank. Collection of data for audit reviews.

MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS: Navigation in internal lending systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2 to 4 year degree or equivalent experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A 2 year Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of. Degree in Finance or Statistics is preferred.
Experience in operations or financial background is preferred.
Ability to conduct data analysis and spreadsheet work.
Ability to pay close attention to detail and review work with a critical eye from a quality control perspective.
Investor (Fannie May, Freddie Mac, etc.) knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge of RESPA is preferred.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS : Proficient at excel, outlook and other Microsoft office applications.
EQUIPMENT USED: PC, Phone
TRAINING REQUIRED: Yes on internal systems
