Job Description

The Operational Effectiveness and Vendor Management Product Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Credit Card Product Management and is responsible for driving efforts both proactively and responsively to lower operational risk, as well as manage relationships with strategic third party providers. This person will also be the lead for timely and thorough completion of both internal and external audits. Individual will work closely with compliance and internal risk teams to compile necessary information in order to prepare a complete, factual and timely response.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Partner closely with the Legal/Compliance/Risk/Privacy teams to review and enhance procedures across all Credit Card to ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
  • Serve as Credit Card LOB primary contact for regulatory exams, audits and GRC testing to provide product subject matter expertise
  • Responsible for third party strategic vendors to ensure we are fully leveraging vendor functionality and making recommendations that bring added value back to the business
  • Lead for Credit Card LOB in assisting with and fully remediating MSIF’s
  • As necessary, facilitate coordination of RCSA activities within the group ensuring the appropriate risk appetite is maintained. Conduct quarterly RCSA testing as required.
  • Liaison to ECR escalations, partnering with ECR and Credit Card product owners to address client feedback in a timely manner
  • Work closely with our technology and operations support partners to improve our defect management, communication and resolution approaches
  • Lead for Credit Card related to SOX Audit Programs
  • Mobilize and lead internal partners to implement approved initiatives to improve product line performance
  • Manage and effectively prioritize work efforts in order to deliver promised results
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred
  • 3-5 Retail Banking experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of retail banking consumer lending and or retail credit card including marketing, origination, products, current industry trends is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a strong degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt to an ever changing list of priorities while providing excellent customer service required
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and identify activities most important in driving business results
  • Ability to work independently and utilizing a high degree of independent judgment based on knowledge of the Company, policies and procedures to make sound decisions required
  • Firm understanding of Microsoft Office applications required: Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point
  • Highly organized with ability to drive complex cross functional projects
