ABOUT THE JOB

The Mortgage Fee Specialist reports to the Fee Specialist Team Leader and is responsible for ensuring regulatory TRID compliance within the KeyBank Mortgage business. Possess the ability to disclose an array of mortgage loan types while providing excellent internal and external customer service. Must have complete knowledge of all loan types and documents including but not limited to Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and New Construction. Must demonstrate solid knowledge of the industry in terms of laws and regulations. The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Primary responsibility to prepare the Loan Estimate and provide to the borrower


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Complete the required tasks to send the Loan Estimate to the borrower

• Review prior issued Loan Estimates appropriately adding and updating fees

• Analyze fees for compliance with TRID calculation and tolerances rules

• Analyze a changed circumstance and accurately enter a reason and comment

• Validate time frame to send the Loan Estimate to the borrower

• Work with Loan Processor, Loan Originator, and Loan Closers to ensure an accurate and timely Loan Estimate is sent to the Borrower

• Review re-disclosures for accuracy, make corrections and/or adjustments and send accurate re-disclosure to the borrower


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required

• Minimum of 3+ years residential mortgage loan processing or closing or accounting experience

• Demonstrated ability to diagnosis financials

• Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve

• Ability to work in paperless system environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities with strong organizational skills.
