  • The Marketing Automation Manager will operate as primary owner of Marketing Automation Platform; liaising with engineering, UX, creative and product marketing teams to manage and oversee all aspects of email as it relates to the customer journey
  • Analyze the effectiveness of email campaigns and individual journeys, identifying goals, results, and opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to the design of detailed customer journeys and work closely with Engineering and UX Design to implement automation that facilitates those journeys within the Marketing Automation tool
  • Develop and maintain email marketing calendar aligning with key channel and cross-sell initiatives
  • Build, QA and launch email streams including email vendor setup, customer targeting, trigger events and creative testing; ensure all campaigns deploy correctly
  • Refine campaign strategy to increase personalization, develop trigger based automated journeys and increase key conversion metrics
  • Develop testing and personalization strategies; test and launch improved journeys including, prospect, cross-sell and withdraw
  • Improve all KPIs: deliverability, open rate, click rate, conversion rate, opt-out rate, as well as specific product goals around individual campaigns
  • Manage agency and third-party vendor relationships for email service providers
  • Provide email marketing thought leadership including a strong understanding of best in class email marketing practices and available tools
  • Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies including a strong understanding of CAN-SPAM
  • 5 years of email and marketing automation platform experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player who can build strong working relationships, collaborate effectively across the marketing team and multiple stakeholder groups, and levels of leadership.
  • Hands-on Marketing Automation Platform experience (Blueshift, Braze, Iterable, or SalesForce Exact Target preferred)
  • Prior technical experience configuring automated email journeys with personalization and dynamic content
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organization and time management skills for effective project planning and management
  • Creative and solution-oriented problem solver, with a strong customer focus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial services industry a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree required + 5 years of product marketing and/or industry experience
