Job Description

Essential Job Functions:
Process retail customer checks in accordance with FINRA regulations to ensure funds are deposited timely.
Input and review all advisor checks into centralized log. Follow up on missing documentation and issue procedure violations.
Complete logging, reviewing and depositing of checks received by licensed bankers.
Answer field and backoffice questions via centralized call center.
Review and respond to centralized email requests.
Setup of Banklink, ACH, periodic payments and periodic investment instructions on client accounts.
Process deposit corrections for field.
Reconcile Banklink account, FDIC settlement account and Pershing deposit reconciliation report.
Understand regulatory requirements as related to back office securities functions.
Monitor and report on work that has been outsourced to clearing broker, Pershing.
Document and maintain procedures according to process implementation on new systems, including process flows, desktop procedures, and written supervisory procedures.
Institute continuous improvement approaches where appropriate; assess processes and make recommendations for workflow improvement.

Required Skills:
College graduate or 2-5 years brokerage or banking experience.
Understanding of securities practices.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Strong client service and communication skills.
Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable individual with the ability to handle changing priorities to support the team as needed.
Actively listen to internal/external client feedback and deliver appropriate solutions.
Welcome constructive feedback and strive to improve your personal effectiveness based upon feedback.
PC proficiency skills – Microsoft Word and Excel.
