Job Description

Please note while this position may consider virtual/remote work option, if selected candidate is local to the Brooklyn, OH facility or the Cincinnati, OH facility, candidate will work in the office at the respective location as there are lockbox operations running at those facilities during the shift of this position.

This is a 3rd shift position. Typical work hours will most likely be 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. EST Monday - Friday however they are evaluating a work schedule of Sunday - Thursday 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. EST. A business decision will be made soon to finalize the work schedule of the position.


ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF):

Coordinates workflow for a team of operators across multiple sites. Monitors a number of mainframe and web based applications for potential errors. Works side by side with operators, internal/external clients and support partners to ensure deadlines are met throughout the day.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Monitor systems and workflow to ensure deadlines are met as efficiently as possible.

Work side by side with team during peak periods performing analysis on suspect items and processing entries.

Research systemic outages and work with support teams to mitigate impact.

Communicate clearly with peers, management, other departments and clients

Maintains an enthusiastic and professional image under stressful conditions.

Serves as subject matter expert during incidents, testing and on projects.

Makes recommendations to improve department systems and procedures.

Assist with functional training in cooperation with Functional Facilitator and management.

Must work well independently as well as within a team environment.

Other duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience performing 10-key data entry

2-4 years detail oriented processing or equivalent experience

Proven track record of reliability, follow through and focus on client service

Ability to think analytically and engage in problem solving.

Demonstrates ability to listen and follow directions.

Works well in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

Flexibility in work hours within shift (ability to typically work Monday - Friday 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)

Proficient utilizing a PC (Windows, etc)

• Proficient in 10-Key, able to perform with a high degree of speed and accuracy.
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Intermediate understanding of banking policies, procedures, government regulations
• Proven ability to handle all monetary/ processing functions independently
• Moderate knowledge/experience in multiple payment delivery channels; OLDS, Lockbox, ACH, wires
• Moderate knowledge of banking policies, procedures and governmental regulations
• Ability to perform moderate scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance functions
• Proven ability to handle high transaction volumes accurately
• Ability to meet production goals
• Proven ability to handle all customer service inquires and diffuse difficult customer situations independently
• May train or assist in training new staff
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in decision making
• Exceptional attention to detail.
