This role is responsible for performing all functions carried out by the operational unit, demonstrating a sound understanding of many functions in the unit. The Lead Specialist is considered an expert on a subset of functions within the unit. In addition to the responsibilities noted above this role will also have functional responsibilities specific to each unit. The Lead Specialist will process indirect loan packages and contracts, including researching missing documentation, tracking and resolving issues with multiple loans at one time.

• Process daily work; maintain compliance with rules and regulations, with attention to bank policy, procedures and regulatory deadlines.
• Ensure that assigned workload is completed within all deadlines and SLA’s. The associate would have a high skill level on many functions and job processes within the operational unit.
• May help to ensure department procedures are written, available, and current.
• Recommend changes or alternate ways in processing methods to allow improved operating efficiency and service levels.
• May assist on special projects.
• May be involved in acquisitions and divestitures as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant and applicable internal and external rules, regulations and policies that govern this position. Operate in a manner that is in strict accordance with KeyBank’s Code of Ethics policy.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 1-3 years of Customer Service experience
Requirements /Competencies:
Preferred Qualifications:
Some college/university coursework or Associate degree is preferred
Minimum 1-3 years of Banking Operations experience preferred
