KTO Finance – Lead Finance Analyst

This position will provide financial business support for various groups in the Key Technology & Operations (KTO) organization. The individual will report to a Finance Manager and will be responsible for designing, developing and producing financial reporting and analysis to serve our business clients and assist in cross functional activities.

Prepare month end accruals and pre-paids to insure financial accuracy in accordance with GAAP
Prepare month end reporting and variance analysis to plan and forecast to provide insights into financial performance
Complete Business Unit Reviews in partnership with KTO senior leaders
Prepare financial plans and forecasts for various groups within KTO. Partner with KTO leaders to understand their business and create accurate, driver based forecasts
Perform financial analysis to identify areas for financial performance improvement within several groups in KTO. Effectively communicate results, insights, and recommendations to the KTO Finance team and KTO Leadership team
Develop trusting relationships with business partners and act as strategic advisor in business decisions and financial impact
Stay abreast of industry trends and assist in developing meaningful benchmarking analysis, where appropriate
Actively participate in special projects and other requests as needed

Bachelors Degree (Finance, Accounting or related field)
2+ years of analytical experience in Finance, Business or related field
Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively
Strong financial and/or accounting acumen
Financial modeling and reporting using financial systems (Hyperion, Essbase, IBM TM1, Cognos)
Understand and communicate correlation between financial results and critical business drivers/measures
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards achieved
Ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively
Detail oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues with limited direction
Passion for continuous improvement especially related to process, accuracy and details.
