About the JobThe Lead Content & Social Marketing Manager position is a vital leadership role and will play an important part in setting the long-term vision of KeyBank’s Content & Social Marketing Program. This position supports a large team, comprised of social marketing and community management, social customer care and employee advocacy. Additionally, this role manages agency partners who support content creation and promotion.

In addition to managing Key’s social media channels, this role also supports content creation for the website and other digital channels.

This leader will lead development and execution of content marketing and social media marketing efforts for KeyBank to: 1) drive business objectives and the brand vision, 2) continue to support and grow KeyBank’s social footprint, and 3) ensure integration with marketing campaigns.

This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Head of Consumer Marketing and work closely with Channel & Communications, Sponsorships and segment leaders throughout the organization. This position also will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing direct reports and for developing effective business relationships across the bank. Lastly, the Content & Social Marketing Manager will be accountable for managing a budget as part of the overall Content & Social Marketing budget.Essential Job Functions

Drive the development of the KeyBank Content & Social Media Marketing vision and strategy

Develop/execute social integrated marketing campaigns across all segments including: Retail, Private, Business, and Commercial Banking

Lead, develop, and actively manage a team of professionals with a focus on development and employee engagement

Set clear direction and expectations: motivate and manage team to be keenly focused on execution and meeting established deadlines

Identify, develop, and maintain high-level vendor relationships and build strategic partnerships

Foster an environment of social innovation; identify and leverage industry best-practices
Required QualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience in social media marketing
Minimum 5 years of social strategy setting, including diverse social channel experience for a large brand
Proven knowledge of leading digital and social technology platforms
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, website management, interactive design or related field
Experience working with interactive agencies and in-house designers
Knowledge of social media vendors such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, etc.
Experience measuring and socializing social analytics and impact
Proven record of strong people management and ability to influence others
Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
Experience using technology for project management and efficiencies, e.g., Excel, Word, digital asset management systems, marketing resource management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or post graduate degree

• Financial services experience, 5+ years

• Strong mobile marketing experience

• Experience developing media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, etc.

• Experience in product/landing optimization

• Experience in SEO/SEM
