Job Description

Essential Job Functions
  • Assemble all necessary tax information for assigned trust accounts and prepare fiduciary tax returns in a timely manner.
  • Review and maintain tax information on trust accounting system and vendor tax system to assure accuracy.
  • Prepare individual income tax returns.
  • Calculate and pay quarterly estimated taxes for trusts and individuals.
  • Responds to queries from trust administrators and customers.
  • Deal with more sensitive and complex accounts than Analyst II - Tax.

Marginal Job Functions
  • Perform related duties within department including maintenance of trust database as a whole.
  • Maintain own files, purge and transfer to record center.100944
  • Significant overtime required January through April.

Required Skills
  • 4 years of college or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have bank trust tax experience or equivalent high volume in fiduciary tax preparation experience.
  • Must have ability to plan own workflow to meet strict tax deadlines.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters Onesource Trust Tax system
  • Experience with CCH Axcess or CCH Prosystem
  • Experience with Global Plus Trust Accounting System
  • Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access experience.
  • Experience with IBM Cognos Connection
