ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

Reporting to the Strategic Delivery Manager, the UAT Manager will lead the User Acceptance Test team in the creation and execution of test cases to support system releases for KeyBank Mortgage. The UAT Manager ensures that system change implementations are fully tested with minimal disruption to operations through detailed testing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Specific essential job functions include the following:
  • UAT policies, processes and quality assurance
    • Define the policies and processes to be used during the UAT phase of system change that would be followed by a team of UAT testers reporting to this role.
    • Integrate and embed UAT processes into the IT development lifecycle to ensure appropriate engagement and oversight of testing quality
  • UAT planning
    • Develop a UAT plan for each intake item to include: Scope and objectives, Specification of test activities, Risks, Roles and responsibilities, Acceptance criteria
  • Test preparation and execution
    • Manage UAT resources, track progress and UAT issue management (including leading the triaging of issues into defects, new requirements, data set-up, user error etc)
    • Build and finalize test cases
    • Verify test environment
    • Compare actual results with expected
  • Other
    • Liaise with business stakeholders to gain issue resolution
    • Provide regular UAT progress statistics/reporting to senior stakeholders
    • Obtain required UAT sign offs from business/key stakeholders
    • Support implementations by working closely with Training and User
    • Support specialists and business stakeholders as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Below are the required qualifications for this position:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent work experience within the consumer mortgage banking industry, including exposure to a Loan Origination System (LOS)
  • Proven knowledge of consumer mortgage banking (could include operations, secondary marketing and/or sales)
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative partnerships among the business unit and internal partners
  • Ability to manage multiple activities in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong leadership and inter-personal skills
  • Strong research skills with an attention to detail
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working closely with team members during development and product launch
