Key.com Front End Developer (UI/UX)

Cleveland, OH

As a Key.com Front End Developer you will create and maintain the UI code on key.com and support online digital marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with partners to create an exceptional, inclusive online experience. You should have an eye for detail and a background in creating modular UI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, develop, document and test front-end code for key.com
  • Add new functionality, capabilities, experiences and components to key.com
  • Troubleshoot and debug UI issues on key.com
  • Improve accessibility on key.com and be an accessibility advocate in the organization
  • Maintain and improve performance of key.com (first paint, time to interactive, etc.)
  • Support marketing initiatives (campaigns, analytics, personalization and SEO)
  • Provide guidance and education to partners and peers
  • Collaborate and nurture relationships with designers, developers, content specialists, marketing managers and third-party vendors

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Web Standards and HTML semantics
  • Advanced CSS knowledge
  • Experience with BEM or other modular CSS methodology
  • Advanced knowledge of WCAG 2.0
  • Experience writing vanilla JavaScript
  • Familiar with Design and UX guidelines
  • Empathy and good verbal, written and listening skills

  • Sass/Less
  • Git
  • React
  • Adobe Marketing Cloud (Analytics, Launch and Target)
  • Experience working with a design system
  • CMS Experience
