Job Description

JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Business Banking’s deposit and loan product management team.
    • Develop and execute product strategies to drive annual/long-term growth plans, portfolio performance and profitability
    • Lead product management functions including annual and monthly planning and forecasting, rate management, fee income, new product development, market research, competitive analysis, industry benchmarking and initiative management
    • Partner with finance on planning, forecasts and budget processes
    • Develop End-2-End loan capabilities in small business, including digital and technology design, analytics, pricing, credit and deposit risk management, and overall risk/fraud model improvements
    • Drive alignment with servicing and operational capabilities and partnerships with the servicing (Loan Closing, Underwriting, Commercial Client Services, Answer Bank, etc.).
  • Drive BB’s strategy through internal and external partnerships, including:
    • Align with Enterprise Payments’ product groups including merchant, deposits, and cash management to drive strategy and performance across all channels
    • Plan with Consumer product team to drive Money Market pricing, rate strategies & exception procedures and financial plan delivery
    • Partner with internal divisions such as KEF, K@W, PB and to align/integrate enterprise solutions
    • Contract with external companies driving strategy, financial planning, and alignment to Key’s third-party standards (Paychex,BAI, Barlow, KeyTax, Harland,Fiserve)
  • Align product strategies to BB segmentation and industry strategies & client channel alignment
    • Build upon and enhance analytical tools leveraging internal and external client/prospect data into highly targeted marketing programs, product/solution bundles and frontline client insight sales tools
    • Create and sustain analytical insights into relevant metrics including monthly scorecards
    • Partner with analytics to drive sales enablement metrics including sales goals, pipelines, reporting, and effectiveness
    • Create and manage models to develop and support strategies in high opportunity & thin markets, prospects and predictive analytics
  • Partner with marketing to drive roadmap, prioritization of investments (marketing and client incentives), initiative management, proactive activities around industries, collateral development, offer fulfillment, and lead generation.
  • Lead BB Division’s 1st line of defense risk functions, partner with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense and Risk, legal and compliance driving adherence to operating standards and supporting Key’s risk culture
    • Ensure adherence and delivery of division’s GRC controls
    • Partner to create robust credit risk infrastructure
    • Participate/lead audits, as appropriate, driven by OCC, HMDA and internal requests
    • Participate/lead BB’s functions within compliance/risk/legal driven changes (LIBOR, FDIC 370, OCC/HMDA audits, etc.)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • An undergraduate degree with some quantitative coursework
  • 10+ years in the banking industry with 5+ years of product management expertise
  • 5 years working with Business Banking Client Portfolios
  • Strong credit & deposit product expertise
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and excel skills and experience
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Prior effective leadership & coaching experience
  • Ability to size and prioritize large-scale analytical initiatives across businesses
  • Ability to work effectively with senior and middle level managers and with large interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, active-listening); ability to structure and deliver clearly articulate presentations
