About the Job
Analysts in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group act as the primary day-to-day leaders for analytical support, including financial statement analysis and model development; valuation analysis; industry research; and the preparation of various presentations and documents including confidential information memoranda, management presentations and new business pitches among others. Analysts interact daily with other bankers and clients, prospective buyers/capital sources, attorneys and accountants. Experienced Analysts learn to play more of an Associate role in helping manage transactions and interface directly in presentation, marketing, negotiation, capital-raising and closing roles. They play a central role in coordinating the activities of all team members.


Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of investment banking or other relevant experience, with M&A experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting
- Minimum 3.5 GPA preferred
- Strong quantitative skills, including financial modeling, valuation modeling and financial statement analysis
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving ability
- Demonstrated team player/leader through sports, extra-curricular activities and/or other
