JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the department manager, this position is primarily responsible for accurate and timely reporting and remitting as dictated by the related servicing agreements for the assigned contracts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Accurately gather, validate and report loan information to trustee and or owners per the servicing agreements, using the core systems (i.e. KCMWeb and Key2CRE).
Understand and interpret Pooling and Servicing Agreements (PSA), Sale and Servicing Agreements (SSA) and Sub-Agreements, as applicable.
Understand and properly utilize current reporting systems such as KCMWeb.
Accurate preparation of wires and custodial funds movements via Strategy.
Timely and accurately reconcile custodial bank accounts and clear outstanding items are required.
Review and communicate new contract setup information as assigned including Strategy Investor Setup, Collection Account Setup, and KCMWeb Setup.
Reconcile, accrue, and collect, as applicable, funds related to advancing transactions. Additionally, monitor advance levels to eliminate corporate exposure.
Accurate and timely reporting of critical elements related to not only cash elements but also delinquency, special servicing, modifications, etc.
Monitor, resolve, and develop validation exceptions as appropriate.
Monitor calculation and reporting of Realized Losses, Appraisal Reductions Amounts (ARA) and Appraisal Subordinate Entitlement Reductions (ASERs), and Prepayment Interest Shortfall/Excesses, as applicable.
MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS
Assist in training new employees as required.
Participate in special projects as needed.
Participate in team development and team building
REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of four years investor reporting experience or within the industry with emphasis in loan servicing or real estate reporting.
Background in accounting, finance, or real estate preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in commercial mortgage loan servicing, accounting or loan operations.
Working knowledge of McCracken/Strategy loan servicing system.
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes proficient.
