About the Job

This position is part of the Pricing and Portfolio Analytics team within KeyBank’s Enterprise Payments business. This is an opportunity to influence both deposit & fee pricing strategy by providing meaningful data-driven insights to improve business outcomes across our new & existing institutional client base. This role will be responsible for optimizing deposit and treasury management pricing strategies within the Institutional portfolio. The right candidate will have a blend of financial acumen and technical skills, which together will enable them to drive and influence fact-based decision making with senior leadership across different lines of business. They are comfortable navigating, partnering and communicating in a large organization and across many different stakeholders.

Job Functions
  • Provide support in the analysis of pricing changes, including insights and recommendations for clients that should receive preferred relationship pricing
  • Work closely with internal partners, including Payment Advisors and Product Management to support pricing new business, including modeling client & bank impact to ensure pricing outcomes balance new business and pricing optimization targets
  • Support process development and communication efforts to ensure internal engagement models and process flows align with business strategy
  • Develop and maintain analytically based portfolio management strategies and tracking metrics to drive profitable client growth
  • Develop metrics and forecasts which correlate with profitability drivers
  • Partner with Product Management and Sales to create and implement standardized portfolio management processes
  • Support client profitability profiling and benchmarking efforts by industry and segment
  • Work with large volumes of data; extract and manipulate large datasets using standard tools such as SQL, SAS and Python
  • Derive and develop new data attributes/features to grow revenue generating opportunities
  • Ability to think big, understand business strategy, provide consultative business analysis, and leverage technical skills to create insightful, effective BI solutions
  • Communicate complex concepts and the results of the analyses in a clear and effective manner through creative visualization

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Information Management preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in business analytics, financial modeling, strategy, or consulting
  • Solid understanding of banking/payments industry and key drivers of financial results
  • Experience with SAS or other advanced statistical based software preferred
  • Proficient SQL programing with large databases a plus preferred
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Advanced experience in Excel and creating data graphs/visualizations
  • Ability to synthesize, create and communicate clear analytical studies in PowerPoint
  • Advanced presentation development; comfortable presenting to all levels; easily adapts message
  • Strong critical thinking combined with business intuition and intellectual curiosity
  • Relationship-building skills working with senior level management; strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated cross-team leadership
  • Results oriented; self-starter with ability to work independently on relatively complex matters with minimal supervision
