Critical role in supporting Key’s branch network. Our objective is to help the branches deliver Ease, Value, and Expertise to clients, while moving the business model forward to become even more efficient and effective. Change management as capabilities evolve is vital, and the IDM (Initiative Development Manager) is uniquely positioned to make an impact on the employee and therefore the client experience.

Assist in managing the Consumer operating plan, as well as resulting initiatives. Ensure each initiative is executed according to on time and quality delivery requirements, as well as deliver change management plans according to team standards. Coordinate client treatment scenarios, as needed to support initiatives rooted in Financial Wellness.

Major Activities:
Work closely with Consumer Deposits and Key Investments team to help define and implement plans into our quarterly planning for the consumer bank. Partnership includes but is not limited to
Promote a consistent approach based in Financial Wellness
Assist with Licensed Banker Program
Support Initiatives to Improve Sales Effectiveness
Participate and help implement Consumer Banking planning meeting
Keep regular contact with Field advocates
Work in partnership with RRL for the Deposit and KIS sponsor roles.

Partner with field leadership (including sponsors) to drive Initiatives as needed and in support of upcoming Retail Transformation Initiatives.
Help tie initiatives back to Financial Wellness
Development, improvement and implementation of tools
Support a culture of continuous improvement on existing and future enhancements

Additional Activities
Responsible for developing and executing change management plans for the branch teams and their leaders as appropriate. Required partnership with training, document development, and communications teams.
Responsible for sales process interaction with other partner sales teams, such as KIS, Mortgage, Business Banking RMs, etc. Additionally, manage or oversee implementation of client transitions between segments.

Understand sales behavior and results, and implement sales behavior performance improvements into initiative delivery.. Support RRL & ARL sponsors by providing topics and/or content for monthly/bi-monthly meetings, as well as performance analysis.

Deliver messaging guidance to leadership in support of directional/inspirational videos and/or featured articles for wave periods. Understand gaps and support performance management objectives.
Identify and escalate business risks, as needed. Participate in risk assessments, when necessary.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives.


1-3 Years of Experience (preferably branch experience)
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or University
Relationship building skills
Influencing with Impact, especially partner teams
Writing and communication skills, including presenting to leadership
Ability to translate business need to technology requirements
