ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

The Head of B2B Payments and Automation for Enterprise Payments is responsible for leading product strategy, development, on-going product management and sales enablement activities supporting our commercial clients and FinTech partners. This role requires the ability to manage both internal partners, third party vendors and FinTech organizations to drive initiatives forward. Another critical component of the role will be to identify and build partnerships with executives of FinTech organizations for both payment processing capabilities and or product partnerships.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Further develop and enhance Key’s B2B payments strategy leveraging both internal assets and external partnerships to continually enhance our automated payments solutions.
  • Ability to manage our existing B2B and Automated Payables Solutions including product roadmap and influencing third party roadmaps, leverage voice of the client and employee data to further refine processes and procedures, and appropriately handle client escalations.
  • Monitor external trends across payments including identifying and building relationships with executives across the B2B spectrum to identify additional partners to enhance our portfolio of services.
  • Develop opportunities to provide B2B banking services to fintech providers.
  • Align with business development leaders to continually enhance our value proposition and define areas of opportunity to solve across payments spectrum – focused on automation.
  • Knowledge of the different types of payment routing and ability to optimize routing to improve the client experience and maximize earnings for Key
  • Frequently interact with c-suite executives and deliver concise messaging around performance, objectives, and strategy.



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of strategy, product, or related treasury management experience in financial services, consulting or technology.
Preferred QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Payments products, especially card payments.
  • Data driven mentality
  • Experience evaluating, partnering, and commercializing a FinTech partnership.
  • Ability to educate and drive cultural awareness of the B2B payments and automation strategy
  • Ability to effectively work in a matrixed organization with colleagues across various reporting structures.
  • Excellent influencing, consulting and communication (both oral and written) skills, with the ability to successfully interact with and relate complex technical information to multiples audiences in business terms.
  • Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and processes of design thinking; ability to utilize the knowledge in designing new products and services and even improving organizational operation.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to innovate (ie. Think outside of the box) to come up with optimal solutions.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Acute attention to detail with an ability to identify or discover trends or themes.
  • Ability to clearly articulate methodology for issue resolution to complex problems.
  • Analytical thought process and ability to determine paths of action and make recommendations to remediate issues.
  • Previous success in implementing simple and efficient product development or project management programs and processes.
  • Problem Solving and Critical thinking, with the ability to identify root cause and proper solution.
